Panaji, May 12 :Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that the state government was planning to install dura cylinders as a backup to Goa Medical College’s O2 manifold.
In a tweet, he said each one of the cylinders would have a capacity of at least 28 jumbo cylinders as they would be filled by Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) instead of pressurised gas.
”Dura cylinders are now being planned to be installed as backup to GMC’s O2 manifold. Each one of these have a capacity of at least 28 jumbo cylinders as they are filled with LMO instead of pressurised gas. We are making all efforts to ensure regular oxygen supply to save lives during this critical phase of pandemic,” he said.(UNI)
