Hyderabad, May 11 :Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, gusty winds speed ranging 30-40 KMPH and hailstorm is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 72 hours, Meteorological Centre said today.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds speed ranging 30-40 KMPH is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana on May 14 and 15.
Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 72 hours, in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on May 12 and 13 and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on May 13.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Komaram Bheem district and hailstorm occurred at isolated places in Siddipet and Sangareddy districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the same period.
The highest maximum temperatures of 43.4 degree Celsius and 40.4 degree Celsius was recorded in Nalgonda of Telangana and Anantapur of Rayalaseema on Monday.
The maximum temperature of 37.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday, the bulletin added.(UNI)
