Kochi, May 9 (UNI) Mathrubhumi News senior chief reporter Vipin Chand died here
on Sunday due to Covid. He was 42 and under treatment at Ernakulam Medical Trust Hospital after he tested positive for Covid.

A native of Paravoor, Vipin was very active in the journalistic field even during Covid times. He was also affected by pneumonia and undergoing treatment for over two weeks.
Vipin made his journalistic stint in 2005 through Indiavision and joined Mathrubhumi in 2012.He is survived by wife Sreedevi and son Maheshwar.(UNI)
