Hyderabad, May 4 : Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, gusty winds speed ranging (30-40KMPH) and hailstorm is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 72 hours, Meteorological Centre said today.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema during the next five days, in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on May 6, 7, 8, and in Telangana on May 7 and 8.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, Rayalaseema, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on May 6, 7 and 8, the bulletin said.
Hailstorm occurred at isolated places in Mancherial, Medak, and Nizamabad districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema during the same period.
The highest maximum temperatures of 41 degree Celsius and 38.8 degree celsius was recorded in Nalgonda of Telangana and Kurnool of Rayalaseema on Monday.
The maximum temperature of 36.7 degree celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday, the bulletin added.(UNI)
