Kolhapur, May 4 : Heavy rainfall, accompanied with thunder, gusty wind and lightning, lashed different parts of the district, including the city, on Tuesday, causing waterlogging in low-lying areas.
The rain lashed the district in the morning for more than an hour.
Due to strong winds, a big tree at historic Rankala tank on Kolhapur-Gaganbavda highway collapsed, disrupting the vehicular traffic on both sides of the road.(UNI)
