Thane, May 5 : With 2190 new covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, a tally has spiked to 4,77,177 in Thane district, an official said today.

With 52 death cases in the last 24 hours, a total number of deaths have mounted to 7,780.
The mortality rate was 1.63 per cent, he added.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 90,654 while the death toll was 1,621 he said.(UNI)
