Mumbai, May 1: The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari unfurled the National Flag on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the formation of the State of Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan here today.

The Governor saluted the National Flag even as the National Anthem was sung by all those present.
The Governor extended Maharashtra Day greetings to all the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan and police persons on the occasion, said in its official statement.(UNI)
