Hyderabad, April 30:Cyberabad Police & Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), who are known for introducing unique programmes to help Citizens of Hyderabad, on Friday launched another innovative and much-needed Portal covid.scsc.in to provide accurate COVID information to the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said there is information across social media, WhatsApp and different sources on Coronavirus which is not validated and is an overload of information, creating fatigue to the public.
Cyberabad Police & SCSC felt there is a need to launch a curated verified platform to make accurate information available to public and those in need can find the relevant resources for immediate support.
This was led by PratyushaSharma , Joint Secretary SCSC for Women’s Forum to enable verified resources available for critical care, self care and preventive care services to be updated on a timely basis.
The key feature is Suppliers or Service Providers can also register through portal validated by SCSC.
The portal has four categories–Critical Care services, Ambulance services, Oxygen suppliers, Hospitals and Beds, Plasma support, Blood Banks and Cremation Services.
Mr Krishna Yedula, Secretary-General, SCSC talking about this initiative said any Citizen who is looking for services or information like plasma, blood, Bed availability, oxygen suppliers, psychologists and counsellors, diagnostic centers, food services, can find verified and relevant information, a release here said.(UNI)
