Belagavi, April 27 : Senior Congress leader and former Lok Sabha member S B Sidnal passed away at his residence here due to age related diseases today. He was 85.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter.
According to family sources, he was born in a small village Sanikoppa in Bailhongal Taluk of Belagavi district. He entered politics by joining Congress and served as district general secretary. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Belagavi constituency four times from 1980.
Senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha Member Prabhakar Kore and many other leaders have condoled the death.(UNI)
