Nagpur, April 26 : The district on Monday witnessed slight drop in the number of daily cases as it reported 5,852 new positive cases in last 24 hours.
On Monday, the number of recoveries were more than the positive cases as 5921 people recoverred from the infection.
Also, 89 people succumbed to the virus in the same duration.
The cumulative positive cases so far has reached 3,79,980.
Following today’s addition of fatalities, the death toll has surged to 7025.
The district’s cumulative recoveries rose to 2,95,617. The recovery rate has further rose to 77.80%. The number of active cases stood at 77,338.(UNI)
