Thane, April 26 :  With a total of 4,211 new corona positive cases being reported in the past 24 hours, the tally in the district has spiked to 4,50,587, an official said today.

While, 46 death a number of fatalities has reached to 7,278 .

The mortality rate was 1.62 per cent, he added.

In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 78,336 while the death toll was 1,476 he said.(UNI)
