Hyderabad, April 20 : Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 48 hours and on April 23 and 24, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next 48 hours and on April 24.
The same situation will prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on April 21 and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days, in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on April 21, 22 & 23 and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours and on April 23 and 24, the bulletin said.
The maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degree celsius in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places in Telangana & Rayalaseema and at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature 41.8 deg Celsius was recorded in Adilabad & Ramagundam of Telangana, Jangamaheswarapuram of Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
The highest maximum temperature of 37.1 degree Celsius was recorded in Hyderabad yesterday, the bulletin added.(UNI)
