Kozhikode, April 14 :  In a big haul of narcotic substances, the Excise officials on Tuesday night seized three kilos of hashish oil from a suburban hotel in Ramanattukara town in this district of Kerala.

Sources on Wednesday said the officials of Feroke Range office of the Excise department on a tip off, conducted a raid on the hotel that a huge quantity of narcotic substance was smuggled into Kerala.

A local resident Anwar had been arrested in this connection and he was being quizzed, the sources in the Excise Department said.

The hashish oil seized is valued at Rs 3 crore in the International drug market.

The Narcotic substance was smuggled from Andhra Pradesh for supply in Kerala, the sources added.(UNI)
