Telangana CM conveys greetings on the beginning of Ramzan month
Hyderabad, Apr 13 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has conveyed his greetings to the people on the occasion of the beginning of Ramzan month. He desired that the fasting and prayers done during the Ramzan month should result in harmony and happiness.
In a message, the Chief Minister urged that the Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb should further increase manifold and the spirit of brotherhood among people should be further strengthened.
The Chief Minister reminded that the state government is officially celebrating the festival of Ramzan, respecting all religions and working tirelessly to maintain the communal harmony.
The Chief Minister also recalled on this auspicious occasion that several schemes, programmes are implemented by the state government for the welfare of economically backward among the Muslims.
He said schemes like Shaadi Mubarak have brought in a qualitative change in the lives of young Muslim women. Several schemes implemented in the field of education for the Muslim students have been successful.
The Chief Minister also expressed happiness over the residential educational institutions for yielding good result
The Chief Minister has also expressed satisfaction over many schemes and programmes meant for the Muslims are bearing the fruits and bringing in qualitative change among the people.
In the advent of a second wave of Corona spread, the Chief Minister urged the Muslim brethren to follow the COVID guidelines. (UNI)
