Rajasthan reports fresh 2,801 nCoV cases, 12 deaths

Jaipur, Apr 7:  Rajasthan reported 2,801 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 3,46,791.
Besides, 12 deaths were also recorded in the past 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 2866.
According to a report released by the Directorate of Medical Affairs, the highest number of 551 new cases in the state were reported in the capital Jaipur, followed by 410 in Udaipur, 326 in Jodhpur, 210 in Kota, 185 in Bhilwara, 139 in Dungarpur, 110 in Ajmer, 108 in Rajsamand, 90 in Chittorgarh, 74 in Bikaner, 71 in Alwar, 68 in Bara, 56 in Banswara.
According to the report, 21 in Barmer, 19 in Bundi, 13 in Dausa, 22 in Dholpur, 22 in Shraganganagar, 52 in Hanumangarh, 26 in Jalore, 42 in Jhalawar, seven in Jhujhunu, four in Karauli, 38 in Nagaur, 41 in Pali, six in Pratapgarh, 11 in Sawai Madhopur, 36 in Sikar, 11 in Sirohi, 25 in Tonk and five in Bharatpur while one each case was reported in Churu, Jaisalmer.

According to the report, active cases were 18,146 in the state on Wednesday.
Four infected persons died in Udaipur, two in Rajsamand, one each in Kota, Nagaur, Dungarpur, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, and Ajmer on Wednesday. (UNI)
