Bhadradri Kothagudem (Telangana), Jan 3 : Three members of a family were killed and another injured when a fire broke out in their house at Old Palvancha in this district on Monday due to a leakage in cooking gas cylinder.

According to police, a couple –Ramakrishna, Sree Lakshmi- were residing in East Bazaar street of Palvamcha along with their twin daughters— Sahithi (12) and Sahithya (12). The couple along with Sahithi were killed on the spot.

Sahithya, who was injured with 80 per cent burns, was admitted to Government Hospital, Palvamcha for treatment.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, the police added.(UNI)
